I have been working as a bioinformatics in the team since 2009. Since 2019, I also work for the Ressources Aquatiques Quebec (RAQ) group. I thus provide bioinformatics support fof the members of the RAQ group and the lab, as well as for the EPIC4, GAPP oysters, and FISHES Genome Canada projects. Since 2022, I work half-time for the IBIS bioinformatics plateforme.

I mainly contribute to these projects with:

  • Developping analysis programs, mostly in Python, Bash, and R
  • Genotyping by sequencing, or RADseq (stacks_workflow)
  • Environmental DNA (voir Barque)
  • Annotation of genomes (GAWN) and transcriptomes (go_enrichment)
  • Whole genome sequencing (wgs_sample_preparation)
  • Whole genome methylation (bwa-meth_pipeline)
  • Programming support and training in Python, Bash, and R
  • Diverse training (github, blast tools)
  • Implementing computation and backup solutions
